The success of our small company depends on the people we add to our team. Therefore we are seeking especially talented individuals to apply for the following full-time positions. Summer positions are also available for people with similar skills and interests. CNC Machinist (Full-Time): This position focuses on the programming, setup, and operation of CNC milling machines. The applicant should be able to take a 3D CAD model and then use Mastercam to generate the toolpaths, post-process and fabricate the part on a Haas VF series machine. Mastercam is used for nearly all parts, however some simple cuts are programmed at the machine. Direct experience with the Haas VF series control is desired. Experience with other basic machine shop tools is desired – manual mills and lathes, saws, welders, etc. Much of our work is in aluminum, but any experience with Titanium or other exotic alloys would be a bonus. Since we are a small company that builds a variety of parts, any other fabrication skills would be good – composites, wood, sheetmetal, etc. An interest in aviation is preferred.

WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN (Full-Time): This position involves taking engineering drawings and turning them into real parts. We are looking for a person who can fabricate prototype parts. We don’t mind if your background is in wood, metal or composites, but we need someone who is very ‘hands-on’ with good mechanical aptitude.
Duties:
- Building parts from engineering drawings – mostly metallic structure, but some composites and wood.
- Operating equipment ranging from milling machines and lathes to sheetmetal tools to basic woodworking tools
- General equipment maintenance
