David Shaw, owner of Flying S, is an aeronautical engineer graduate from the University of Illinois. He has worked on numerous GA (general aviation), UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) and space projects at Cessna, Scaled Composites, Adam Aircraft, Warrior Aero-Marine, Aurora Flight Sciences and NASA. David's education is complimented by holding a commercial, multi-engine pilot rating. He is also a flight instructor and private glider pilot.
